SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

Spherical roller bearings consist of a common spherical raceway outer ring and two rows of spherical rollers between the double raceway inner ring. The spherical roller bearings is self-aligning, and can automatically adjust the misalignment caused by the deflection or misalignment of the shaft or bearing seat, and the allowable alignment angle is 1~2.5 degrees. Spherical roller bearings can bear radial load, bidirectional axial load and its combined load, especially the radial load capacity is large, and it has good anti-vibration and impact resistance. It is widely used in iron and steel metallurgical equipment, mining equipment, cement machinery, paper machinery, ships, coal mills, petroleum machinery, engineering machinery, etc.

Installation method: The inner hole of the spherical roller bearing has two installation methods: cylindrical and conical, and the conical tapered hole is 1:12 and 1:30. By unloading the sleeve, the bearing can be installed on the optical shaft or stepped shaft conveniently and quickly. The cylindrical inner hole can also be installed on the tapered shaft with an inner taper sleeve.

Types of spherical roller bearings

Features: CA type self-aligning roller bearings, the inner ring has no middle ribs, and there are small ribs on both sides, equipped with symmetrical rollers, brass or cast iron cages.

Advantages: The cage of CA type spherical roller bearing is designed as an integral cage. In addition to bearing radial load, this type of bearing can also bear bidirectional axial load and its combined load. It has a large bearing capacity and has good resistance impact capability.

Advantages: Spherical roller bearings can withstand large radial and axial loads, while also adapting to certain angular or axial displacements; Secondly, the shape and size of the inner and outer raceways are similar to the raceways of the ball, giving it high load-bearing capacity and good verticality; In addition, it also has automatic centering ability, which can maintain good working condition, improve bearing life and work efficiency.

Advantages: CC type spherical roller bearings. The cage adopts a steel stamping structure, which reduces the weight of the cage, effectively reduces the rotational inertia of the cage, and has little effect on the degree of freedom of the rollers. A movable intermediate ring is designed between the rollers, which can effectively reduce the bearing capacity. Solution for Mining Machinery Vibration Screen

Pain point: The vibrating screen is a commonly used equipment in mining machinery and equipment, and its vibration is mainly generated by the exciter. Solution:

01 Bearing Selection

According to the customer's working conditions, the steel structure of the vibrating screen is made of welded parts and bolted parts. Shaft deflection and support centering errors will occur when bearing loads, and it is necessary to select bearings that can compensate for centering errors. Choose a self-aligning roller bearing with strong load capacity, good impact resistance, convenient lubrication, high reliability, and can still work normally in response to shaft deflection movement, which can compensate for coaxiality errors. Through life calculation,choose model 22328CCJA/W33VA405, it is no problem to verify 20,000 hours.    

02 Design Optimization

According to the customer's working conditions, 1. The original bearing adopts grease lubrication and labyrinth seal structure, and the seal gap is generally 1~2mm. However, in actual use, as the temperature of the exciter bearing increases, the viscosity of the grease gradually decreases, and the spindle rotates at a high speed. The grease in the labyrinth cover leaks continuously from the labyrinth cover, eventually causing the bearing to be damaged due to lack of lubrication. The sealing structure of the bearing is improved, and thin oil lubrication is adopted to improve the lubrication channel. 2. The original bearing chooses a larger clearance fit, so that the outer ring of the bearing slides relatively in the housing hole, which causes the bearing to heat up sharply and is easily damaged. Therefore, the fit tolerance is optimized, and the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft are matched with a looser transition fit or Clearance fit tolerance, the outer ring and the housing hole adopt a tighter transition or a slightly smaller interference fit tolerance. 3. The operating temperature of the exciter is generally 35-60°C. Considering the amount of expansion and contraction of the shaft caused by thermal expansion and contraction, the fit of the floating end bearing is designed as a transition or clearance fit, so that the shaft of the exciter can be expanded with heat and contracted with cold. It can slide slightly relative to the inner ring to ensure the normal operation of the bearing.

03 Result Demonstration
